On Ásvallágata in Reykjavík stands the supermarket Kjötborg.

Brothers Gunnar and Kristján are living legends, the last Mohicans of the small merchant class. With their charm and mutual aid as weapons, they have managed to survive while their fellow soldiers have had to give way to the dominant market forces.

The brothers' daily lives are followed, and images of carefully selected regular customers are projected.
