Shipping from Iceland

Shipping from Iceland can take 2-30 days, custom can delay delivery, please track your order daily to avoid it from being returned back to us.  Please read Q&A below

1. Product Delivery - Returns

Delivery times vary for each product ordered according to the requested delivery method. Information is included during the checkout process, where you can select from the several available shipping methods. We deliver product(s) worldwide, but customers are liable for all delivery and import charges into your country.

If the scheduled delivery time has passed and you have yet to receive your product(s), or you have any other delivery related questions, please send us an e-mail at: info (at) nammi.is

Any returns are the sole responsibility of the customer returning the goods, including cost of returning the shipment. Furthermore, we cannot accept the return of perishable goods, including ice cream, food, bread and items that have a very limited expiry date. 

Once your items have been dispatched, we have no control over the postal service and we cannot accept any liability for late delivery.

Nammi.is is not responsible for any damage or loss of products or services that may occur in transport, i.e. from the time the product(s) are initially shipped, until you receive them. We advise all  customers to insure product(s) in transport.


2. Products Damaged During Transport and Delivery

All shipped easter eggs are liable to break during transportation. For this reason nammi.is takes to no responsibility for breakages.

3. Cancellation right / right to return and refund

The buyer has 60 days to cancel a purchase, as long as he has not used the product and the product is returned in unopened packages and in good order. If the product was in sealed packages, the seal must not be broken. The cancellation period starts when the product has been delivered to the receiver. The invoice for the product has to be included in the return. Refund is made in full if the above conditions are met and after the product has been returned. Delivery charges are not refunded. Q: can i order products with shipping to Israel ?

A: Yes You can

  

Q: If I buy alcohol (Rum) from you, do you ship it from Iceland? Im curious because taxes for alcohol import is expensive in Sweden

A: No you can't order it as Europe is closed for Alcohol orders

  

Q: Hi! I am wondering if this price is US dollar? What is the shipping time?

A: You can change the currency in the left top corner of the front page, but all sales are in Euros

A: Shipping time is 5-15 days airmail and 2-4 days with DHL

A: Shipping time delays like due to the Corona Virus or Holidays can be up to 35 days


Q: How much does it cost to ship to Norway?

A: From 18 Euros, best way to see the total is to login in go to checkout and there you will see the total with shipping and without VAT (tax)

  

Q: Is shipping to Germany possible?

A: YES no problem, but no Meat or Alcohol

  

Q: What countries do you ship to?

A: Most countries or all that are open, best way is to login, go to checkout and if you see shipping prices then you are in luck, if not please e-mail us info@nammi.is and we will look into it (we love customers and we like to get more of them all over the world)

  

Q: Do you ship to the Netherlands

A: Only in airmail, DHL is closed

A: Yes no problems bt sorry far away and shipping is expensive.

Q: I was wondering how I can track this shipment

A: yes we send in e-mail tracking number as soon as your order is processing, then again when we ship your order out, please look for e-mails from nammi.is can be in junk or spam folders if you cant find them

A: From 18 EUROS, yes you need to pay custom fee as you do not pay any VAT here in Iceland, gift orders can go through but you need to ask your post office or custom office if there is some minimum order.

A: Gift orders are when the Billing address is not the same as the Shipping address

  

Q: Do you ship to Canada. What size order make the shipping cost reasonable?

A: Yes we do in airmail, DHL is closed, lowest shipping cost is for orders up to 2 kg.

A: US is open, both airmail or DHL express but no Meat, Salmon, Hot Dogs or any other meat items

  

Q: Good Morning, What does "sending by Letter Packet" mean? Please.

A: Low shipping cost, tracking number available, no insurance, can be envelop or small parcel up to 2 kg. But you can add Insurance for your order and we recommend you do, so cheap 

  

Q: Hello! I see you ship around the world so I assume then you can ship within Iceland, too?

A: Yes we do, just change shipping address to any address within Iceland, no alcohol allowed in orders within Iceland, if you like to pick up your order at our place, change the address to Borgarhella 3, 221 Hafnarfjordur

  

Q: Can I order Hot Dogs to the US

A: NO SORRY ALL COUNTRIES CLOSED.......Yes you can, we ship Hot Dogs frozen every Monday, shipping time is 2-4 days, please track your order daily.

 

Q: Can I have a discount code.

A: We do offer promotional codes from time to time to our customers. The best way to get promotional codes is to sign up to our newsletter, we’ll for sure send out a post about any offers.

23.11.2022 SORRY all Meat orders are now not allowed with DHL, we are working on a solution with the Icelandic Foreign affairs office, hope to solve this soon

Germany - Smoked food like lamb meat and salmon allowed in small orders
Spain - Smoked food like lamb meat and salmon not allowed

Portugal - Smoked food like lamb meat and salmon not allowed

Denmark - Smoked food like lamb meat and salmon not allowed

Italy - Smoked food like lamb meat and salmon not allowed

Asia - Smoked food like lamb meat and salmon not allowed

Norway - only small orders allowed - gift's and note SMALL ORDERS 1-5 pc, order other items in Airmail

Sweden - only small orders allowed - gift's and note SMALL ORDERS 1-5 pc, order other items in Airmail

Netherlands - Closed for all items in express

USA - Open 

  

Smoked items are like sausage, lamb meat, hot dogs, salmon and trout.

We do not allow order to countries that takes more than 2-3 days in delivery as the foot items can not be for long in store temperature.

All meat items are shipped out frozen to keep then save for longer time

Other countries are open but this can change and we will update this page weekly
