Complex and distinctive on the nose with intense aromas ranging from herbs through recollections of tangy citrus, nuts, and savory notes from Oloroso sherry casks. Cumin, dill, and a hint of fresh rye bread supported by a light and refined sherry note. This is a very well-thought-out and modern film by Linie Aquavit. It has a great softness with some freshness. The finish has a lovely hint of fine spiced wood and toasted nuts. Askur / Aquavit 500 ml. is beautifully composed and it is a true journey of aroma and taste that shines through.

The Norwegian family name Hovdenak was chosen for the distillery when it was founded in 2018 in Hafnarfjörður, Iceland. After a few years of experimenting, the perfect product was born and got the name Stuðlaberg Gin.
