Icelandic filmmaker Jon Gustafsson was thrust into the world of aerial photography by pure chance. He was traveling in a helicopter when the volcano Eyjafjallajökull erupted in 2010. On that flight he captured the first images of the infamous eruption that affected the world. His images were published worldwide and his passion for aerial photography was born.
