Translation
lind means ‘spring’, ‘source’ or ‘fountain’ in Icelandic. Referring to the area where the herbs are picked, in the South of Iceland, the volcanic and mineral rich area around lake Laugarvatn. Laugarvatn means ‘bathing water,’ the lake has some geothermal springs under the surface, making it a popular year-round swimming spot amongst Icelanders. And shampómeans ‘shampoo’ in Icelandic.
