Raven Design is a husband and wife team, Hrafn Jónsson and Hulda Sveins. Their workshop is their home, a 100 year old house, where the magic of making is made more special. This creative team started in 1999 and has been steadily developing their ideas ever since.
Raven Design has a wide viraity of products to offer, their acryl jewellery has been on display and in stores since 2007 and proven to please the crowd. They also have a series of Christmas ornaments with an eliment of surprice every year when the „new Christmas ornament“ is introduced. Their new commer for 2010 is called Love and Angles, all around. A beautiful ornament with a beautiful message. Currently, over 20 retailers are selling Raven Design products.
These retailers are amongst the leading Icelandic and online fashion retail stores in Iceland.
Unique decor for unique people. A variaety of jewellery from Raven Design is continously evolving throughout the year, their newest creation is called „4/hearts“, a leather necklace complemented by a bracelet and a pair of earrings. Their second leather introduction this year is dated from the 13th century called Laufás or „leaf“ – a antique design decorating which use to decorate a church door located at the North side of the island, Eyjafjordur.
Other design are inspired by various anchent Icelandic patterns dated from the 17th century.
Other leather bracelets have a distinctive look, for examble Raven the bird, the Glaciers of Iceland, the Rose and many others.
