Rabarbía rhubarb toffee/brittle is hand-made by farmers Kjartan Ágústsson and Dorothee Lubecki at Langamýri in Skeið, south Iceland.
This rhubarb toffee evokes sparkling childhood memories - a beautiful sunny summer day, out in the garden, eating rhubarb sprinkled with sugar.
Rhubarb is the principal ingredient in Rabarbía. The rhubarb fields at Langamýri are organically certified.
Rabarbía is the end-product of a development project undertaken in co-operation with the Iceland Academy of the Arts -“Designers meet Farmers“, represented by Matís Food Reseach and master baker Örvar Birgisson.
