Lay Low - Flatey

The muscisian Lovísa Elísabet Sigrúnardóttir, LAY LOW, went in late summer 2009 to the beautyful island of Flatey in Breidafjord. Over a weekend she walked around the island with her gear in wheelbarrows filming and recording  seven live acoustic songs. The island, the weather and the natives gave her a warm welcome and as a result she brougt back home with her seven great recordings.

The work of this lovely weekend can be enjoyed on the new album LAY LOW - FLATEY consisting of 28 min DVD and a CD with seven songs. While watching and listening you can feel the island quite intensly and also some surprise guest stop by. The songs on this album are taken from the LP´s Please don´t hate me Farewell Good Night's Sleep. The album also includes a new song from Lovísa to the poem "Sorgin" (the greef) from the year 1884 written by the poet Undína.
